Approach
How a retirement income consultation actually runs.
A consultation, not a transaction

Spire Junction Retirement Planning works on an inquiry basis. There is no product to buy on this site and no fixed package to sign up for. An engagement begins when you send a short note describing your situation, and it only becomes a paid planning relationship after a no-cost scoping call where we both agree the work is a good fit.
The approach below is what a typical consultation follows. It is a method, not a script — the order shifts to match the question you bring.
1. The inquiry
You send a few sentences through the contact form or by phone. We read it before we reply, so the first conversation is already about your situation rather than a generic intake script.
2. The scoping call
A thirty-minute call, at no cost, where we establish what you want to understand and what information would help. If the question sits outside what we do, we say so and point you somewhere more useful. If it fits, we set out in writing what the consultation will cover.
3. Gathering the picture
With a short checklist, you collect the documents that tell your retirement income story: national pension statements, workplace pension entitlements, savings and account balances, insurance contracts and a rough picture of expected spending. We help you read the parts that are unclear.
4. The consultation
In a structured session we lay out a retirement income sequence and a long-term savings posture, and we mark the decisions that will need to come back into view as life changes — a move, a health event, an inheritance, a change in spending. You leave with a written picture you can revisit, not a one-page recommendation you have to trust from memory.
5. Review points
Retirement income plans drift. A sequence that looked right at sixty-five may need a different drawdown order at seventy-two. We agree review points in advance, so the plan is revisited on a schedule rather than only when something has already gone wrong.
What this approach is not
- It is not a product sale. We do not present investment products, insurance contracts or platform subscriptions on this site.
- It is not a one-meeting recommendation. The consultation is the working session; the value is in the revisitable picture it produces.
- It is not a guarantee of returns. No projection we discuss is presented as a forecast of what will happen.
If that shape suits the question you have, the next step is an inquiry.
